This post will complete the watercolor demonstration for Just Before Sunset.
I’ve continued painting section by section using the same process as described in step 4.
Even though I haven’t quite finished the fabric in the lower left corner, I felt the need to concentrate on the pitcher. I used glazes of cool over warm to create a luminous glow for the smooth ceramic.
Here is the finished painting after making a few adjustments. Notice how the darker value in the upper left pushes the pitcher forward. And how the lifted highlights on the pitcher give it more of a sunlit glow.
