It’s All In The Details
In the above photo, I am working with a “rigger” brush using neutralized colors already on my palette. The goal is to create an illusion of the tiny veins in the iris. I purpose to work in a delicate, random way to avoid hard-edged, dutifully drawn-on-lines with dry paint 😮
Above is the finished effect achieved by adding water carefully, while still damp, to soften the lines without distubing the previous washes.
Remember, a little detail goes along way. Don’t overexplain and turn the viewer away with too much information.
