June, I absolutely LOVE your DVDs. I’ve watched them over and over. Anytime I start feeling stuck, I go back to them and your lovely, gentle, and very calming guidance puts me back on track. I would highly recommend your DVDs to anyone who is interested in learning this technique. And your Alcohol Ink Art Facebook Group is equally awesome. Yes, I remember you! Thank you for writing.

I am teaching one 3hr beginner alcohol ink workshop 9am-12pm on May 16th in Murphy, NC at Tri-County Community College. I think there are still a few more openings. Call Lisa to register at: 828-837-6810. Because of my work schedule, I have no other workshops planned until I teach watercolor at JCCFS on Feb. 16 2014.

Yes, my Level 1 Alcohol Ink Dreamscaping DVD is what I cover in the beginner Alcohol Ink Dreamscaping Workshop. Level 2 DVD includes basic color theory and more advanced layering and sculpting techniques. Level 1 & 2 DVDs use Ranger Adirondack Alcohol Inks on Yupo.

The 3rd DVD uses Piñata Alcohol Inks on ceramic tile.

Hello June,

I don’t know if you remember me, we met at the JCC Folk school Craft Store. I am also a member of Blue Ridge Art Gallery the Art Center. They informed me that your AI on Yupo workshop would be canceled due to your new full time position. I was wondering if one of your DVD’s would be sufficient for me to understand the use of AI and Yupo paper?

I am mostly self taught with the help of books and videos in my creative endeavors. I have experienced in past workshops taken that some instructors do give a little more information than what I might get from these resources. What is your suggestion? My time is limited, I have used AI on metal and porous surfaces so am familiar with how they flow and can control it. Any suggestions would be helpful.
