So, What’s Different?

Just How Many Alcohol Ink Dreamscapes Can She Make?

They all look the same to me!

Really?

Above is one of my earlier Dreamscapes. No. 195 had a softly layered sky against clearly defined shapes, that someone said, looked like intestines…and then there were those other comments about hanging a vanilla wafer in the sky and a blob is not art

Good, stinging points and 369 Dreamscapes later…

Above is Dreamscape No. 564 born out of continued experimentation with new products, techniques and a playful spirit delighting in discovery. Oh, and let’s not forget the countless attempts that were tossed because I wondered if maybe they looked more like anatomy lessons and cookies than art… :D

  1. I have enjoyed your dream scapes never mind what some people say. I think if you pour heavy cream down the side of a glass of iced coffee and the cream swirls around in various patterns it’s art I guess one would have to take a photo of it… not even heavy cream just coffee cream…have to do it just right.. try it sometime

  2. Ah, criticism . . . some, the thoughtful and observant kind, makes you a better artist; some, the other kind, just makes you laugh out loud. June, here’s to always having the last laugh!

  3. Some of the more caustic comments from the general public continue to amaze me. This reminds me of the author of a popular series of novels who received rants and death threats because of the way she ended her series. These went on for months! Incredible.

I love your Dreamscapes. Each one causes me to linger and look beneath the layers.

    Thank you for sharing.

  4. I personally love each and every one,,,I’m learning something from them all,,,thank God theres someone willing to show and teach those of us who are just starting out!!!!
