Here’s What A Learning Curve Looks Like…
February 25, 2012 by June Rollins

Now, didn’t seeing this just make you feel better?
These are my results from yesterday. I can blame it on being sick. Easier on the ego.
Truth is, I’m trying out watercolor inks on Yupo while I’m sick.
I’m finding they handle a wee bit differently than alcohol inks.
But, today is a new day
and I am armed with all that I learned
didn’t work yesterday

Ah, color – makes even the “learning experiences” look pretty! Thanks for sharing.
Hi Paula! You are right, delight in the color! Thanks!
I SO love that photo, June! (of the waste basket)
I only wish my students could get a strong hold on this concept: the waste basket is our best learning curve!!
Are the inks you are using the Dr Martins Hydrus Watercolors? Yes, a steep learning curve! I find that those work besk on CP 140#. LOVE “drawing” with the droppers … it really forces you to be loose. I have a few of those on my blog, for better or for worse!
You are so right, Donna! Those paintings we “show” didn’t just happen
Yes, Dee, they are Dr. Martins. Going to check out your blog. Thanks!
